Battlefield Bad Company 2, Read!

Hey! I just bought a game from a friend, Been longing to play this for ages and now i finally have a computer that can handle the graphics ( Im 100% positive about that ) BUT I join a multiplayer game, play for like 4-5 minutes then the screens turn black for 1 second and then It throws me back to the login screen, Stands " Updating your stats" 20 seconds after a new message pops up saying, Your connection with Ea Online has been lost" .. EVERY time i join a game after 4-5 minutes... It sucks.. I really want to play multiplayer, Anyone got any solutions? Would be greatly appriciated!

I also have BC2 since the release and many ppl have this problem. Since the game is down with Punkbuster try updating it at PunkBuster Online Countermeasures and there SHOULD be a special icon which looks for BC2 updates. There is launched a major update lately with 4 new maps which 2 of them are from BC1.

Let me check BC2 it might kick me too. If that is so then you should not worry and it ll get fixed soon enough.

Edit : I installed pbsetup and updated punkbuster with that and still disconnects randomly after 4-5 minutes

Your computer probably is just cutting you off from Punkbuster (most likely your AV). Try putting PB in the exceptions list on your AV and see what happens.

Ehm, Is the PB in the electronic art>Bfbc2 ?
Because i just made and exception for the whole map.

Edit; Ps I even shutted the whole av off for 1 test, but same shit happened ;(

Edit 2nd: I just played a server without ranked and without punkbuster and that happened same shit ;S

Edit 3rd: Btw It's not like im getting kicked or anythiing like that.. Just disconnects,

I have Windows xp version 2002, service pack 2. AMD phenom(tm) II x6 1055t, Processor 2,81 GHz, 3,25 GB RAM

Graphic card is Radeon HD 6800 Series.

Then how about trying your firewall?
Otherwise, you can always try a fresh install of the game.

I allowed the game in my windows firewall, I even tryed shutting it down for a try, And i tryed repairing but didnt work so i reinstalled.. Nope ;(

Nope, How to check that?, Or maybe i have, I turned it to LOW when entered router from computer

mine is working pefectly fine. I had the same problem as you but i cant remember what i did to fix it

Ahh. I finally fixed it ;DDD Awesome. lol! I just changed to stealth mode in router instead of low security , lol
