Why do people hate allods?

Runes of Magic isn't all that bad, i know people like to bash it for being a WoW clone but i personally think its a fun game and worth checking out. The only thing that sucks is that towards the endgame it tends to turn into a pay 2 win situation, especially if your doing pvp. I picked it up again yesterday and started over with a new character. I'm on the Indigo server and my ign is Thecrow if you want someone to play with just pm me here or something or hit me up in game. And I'm just curious is there anyone else on here who plays RoM that i might be able to tag along with?

It used to be Buy 2 Win a while back, now a few items got daily quests & all that.

The reason why I dont like it is because of the leveling speed. But I wouldnt give it a minus for it because they made it for a good reason.

But I think you can put on auto-attack in options or something.

Too much walking? I should quit playing MMO's if i were you, because this is the average walking. Area's are large, but the walking isn't much of a deal.

I'm level 10 archmage atm and i still love it. I'm in a nice guild now, met some players and having a great time. This is truly an outstanding game .

nah i hate the game also it lags like a b**** and its slow leveling doesnt bother me but the lag is awful ive tryed to force myself to play it but its a broken game to me sorry

P.S the lag isint cause of my pc i have a 12gb ram 185gb harddrive and some other alienware things

Every game has lag. I also played it on a crappy laptop.
Lag is so normal you should not complain about it unless its in an fps game and it lags right before you die.

I wouldn't say that I hate it. Actually, it's becoming more interesting lately, and it looks incredible compared to most F2P MMORPG graphics and/or worlds.

It also has these different things about it that I like. If I was absolutely sure it was worth playing now and if I wasn't so focused on and interested in LotRO, I would surely play it, because it is one of the most impressive LOOKING F2P MMORPGs I've ever played. Doesn't mean it is the best though.

I made a thread about it, and in the end, it left me with mixed emotions on if I should play it or not.

Hmm im not really sure, it's been a long time since i played Allods. Im considering re-downloading it again. But the main thing was that i ended up dont know how to go further. So I not hated it because it looked like WoW, I only think that is a good thing, because it makes 'WoW' playable for people who dont want to pay.

There were a few things that made me hate the game:

1: The thing that got me interested in Allods was the Astral Ships so I went to the website and they were harping on how awesome they were harping on how great the ship gameplay was, so I downloaded the game and started playing wondering when I was going to get my ship. After doing a little research I found out that the ships was end-game content which irked me to no end.

2: I looked in the cash shop out of curiosity and found there were only a couple of mounts so I thought that the majority of the mounts were obtainable in-game. After a little inquiring I found out that I could get a mount at lvl 12 which I thought was cool. After a little more asking around I then found that the mount was only a temporary mount that lasted for only an hour. That made me realize how cs oriented this game really is.

3: The utter size of the starting city. I mean other than the tutorial areas I never saw the "outside world" because the starter city so massive. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me.

I am really curious because I just started playing the game and I enjoy it. The graphics are great the gameplay is fun the only con I have on the game is the fact you have to press something everytime you attack.

Also if there is anyone that is a low level or want to start over again i would love to party up with some of you guys just add me on xfire my name is benc1213 and tell me that you want to play allods in the request.

I liked the game when i first started playing it but at the time that was when the game did seem to be very cash shop dependent. I also found the slow leveling to be boring but I could see it not being bad if you have friends in the game with you.

The game had promise and if this talk about them changing the cash shop dependency is true it might be worth giving it a try.

Also just want to ask when did Alienware started parting out things? As an alienware owner myself I'm confused as to what you mean. Are you talking about their over priced accessories which is a wonder that anyone buys, Or what? Only good thing about spending the amount of money you have to spend to buy an alienware is that you have an overclocked pc with a warranty.
