No matter what people say about a game it all comes down to whether or not YOU are having fun and enjoying the game. If your having fun then get the game, but if you don't have the money theres always the option of playing on a private server.

WoW is great, but imo not worth to pay 15 euros per month for (not to mention you have to buy the games too). So I should stick to free MMO's or maybe a private server
Yea ive played wow for just 3 months, but it's seriously not worth the 15 bucks a month. Stick with the idea that they just want your money and these satanists use it for evil. Yes Blizzard is a part of the illuminati.
I'm considering of buying it & waisting my money on it for a while now. I'm gonna be trying it again during holiday-period. The game keeps updated constantly and you don't have to waiste 20$ every week just for stuff to keep you going like in most F2P MMORPG's, which is very good ofcourse. On the other hand, if you download 3 ~ 4 different games, you'll get the same amount as WoW. Someone really needs to convince me if WoW is really worthy of it.
Reputation: 10you rather play a wow clone?..is like..EQ sucks..i rather play a EQ clone..o wait...
Reputation: 10My friend has it, but he doesn't play it excessively. He only, on occasion, does instance runs and such with friends. When they've done it, he just logs off.
And he's only doing that because there was a current "Buy a month, give someone else a free month", every other time he doesn't pay for it at all. He says, though there's plenty to do, there's also so many things you can do alone, or just with friends; Where you'll need a huge guild to do one little thing, and it's just not worth it.
So, I'm guessing it's worth trying for a few months, but after that; not really. You can always do what my friend does, and just only buy a month when they have specials on, like the said above - Because it's not like they delete your characters if you don't pay for a few months.
Especially if you are young you will play non stop because you dont want the feeling that you have waisted your money. You can better use that 15 bucks to just go out with friends and have some fun. Or just buy a Buy-to-Play MMORPG. Like Guild Wars*im so advertising this game you guys*
Reputation: 10i would save the money and buy an amazing computer and play a different mmo
(there are alot of free ones out there)
Reputation: 10is true that players taking the game really serious , if you play the trail there is nothing else you should know so just choose .
From what I hear there are a lot of spoiled 10 ~ 12 year olds on there, so if they take it serious and you don't co-op, then they will spam you with no-lifer crap most likely. On the other hand, most of the people in my neighbourhood play the game and they do take it serious. If you hear them talk sometime, you go like; WTF!?
Reputation: 10Well Terror has a point. Games you have to buy are often generally better than Free Ones, when it comes to things involving cash.
An example would be customer support, but it does only go so far.
You're paying to play the actual game; Rather than playing to be the best in the game.
Pay for quality, get quality~
It's why I wished, sometime ago I spent all my cash money on actual games, rather than cash items. It was silly of me.
