*I just wanted to know if anyone else suffers from this.

I've been playing mmorpg's for about 3 years and was primarily with WoW until last year. Since then, I have gone through quite a few games trying to find the "next one". Often times I am left with getting a character to mid-level and bailing on the game for one reason or another. I have complied a few reasons for my changing of games so quickly: general game flaw, too many choices, and lack of inclusive guilds,

First off is just general problems I have had with games. I enjoyed each and every one of these games for some time, but these are reasons I left them.

General Game Flaws
RoM: boring combat , cash shop dependence
Allods: ruined by cash shop dependence
Cabal: the game just does not seem sized right and generally boring (minus combo system)
DC Universe (closed beta): fun, but not enough fun to pay $15 a month
Aika: just not my cup of tea (I enjoy PVE and PVP, but I like them to be balanced)
Karos: wow slow combat
Battle of the Immortals: Meh just not really fun (though has cool moving parts on the weapons)
Any three kingdoms game because honestly it is more over done than Elves
etc.

I know that it sounds like I'm just picky, but each one of these games is good in it's own right and I did play each for more than a few months. However, it seems after a few months I just move on for one reason or another. I miss that continuity and knowledge that I built while playing one game for such a long time.

Too Many Choices:
Another major flaw is choice. It's great and horrible at the same time. I'm glad there are so many free games because that gives us a ton of different experiences (even if there is a lot of clones). But being a duel edged sword having so much choice makes me feel like there will be something better even if the game I'm playing now is better than the last.

Non-inclusive Guilds:
Another major note is I started playing WoW with a cousin so we could "hang out" since we live 4 hours away from one another. Quickly, we were in a guild and built a nice group of people to quest and pvp with. This made questing quick and enjoyable. I've found that most free MMORPG guilds are less inclusive and require the person to become cash shop dependent to keep up. Or they require you hit level cap quickly or be terminated. I have even joined guilds on (Allods, RoM [cash shop] and Cabal [level quickly]) and each ended in me leaving the guild because I was unable to do those things.

Solution:
The easy solution would be to go back to WoW, but I feel that I've been there and done that even with the recent expansion. I keep trying games. Right now I am playing: Loong, Iris Online, Global Agenda and Forsaken World. Each has been promising (though Loong and Forsaken World the characters will be wiped so I've decided to play as many types as possible until the wipes are done).

I could form my own Guild with more lax standards. Any takers let me know because I'd love to help people out with the same problem I have. Tell me what you guys think.

Thanks for reading and have a Happy New Year!
