This thread is about Earth Eternal, it was a game that was in its very early stages, it didnt even leave Beta before it was shut down due to lack of funds, although it was online for a while. It'd been a few months since the game has been down, but the good news is that the game will be coming back up. It was bought and its new owners planning to have it up as soon as they are ready.
Normally most mmo's are lucky if they are able to hit it big in America, because there are tons of mmo's that fail , not cause they aren't good but at times simply because they dont get as much exposure as they should, they say the 3rd times the charm, but i think it will be the 2nd for EE. Not simply because they already have a strong playerbase already waiting, but they have aquired a publisher who will make the game available in Asia for the players there.This time around i think they will do alot better, will have improved the game quality in terms of quests, gameplay, etc. For example when i played it, there were'nt things such as mounts and clan bases. I think the game had alot going for it and were planning to do big things but didnt have big money.
Now they are coming out with a new owner, who we are told have the required funds to fully support the game and keep it going. This means the game will receive better advertisement than the almost 0 advertisment i had seen in its first run. There will be many new things, and of course there will be more end level gameplay.
Give me some feedback if you have played the game, and what you expect to see on the game's second return. Also keep a lookout for it and hopefully give it a chance when it gets here.
Oh and did i forget to mentioned its browser based? and can be downloaded?, basically to put it plain and simple, its the closest game to being a full browser based game that is an MMO.
Very strong community, i'd say its the best community/forums you'l find of any MMO
So definately the game is worth checking out , and i recommend it to everyone, there's a distinctive feel that this game gives off that i get from no other.
