Default Ati Radeon HD 5650 or GTX 260m?

As the title suggests, I am trying to decide on what graphic card to get. The 5650 or 260m?

They both have their goodies. The 260m doesn't support DX11, but is slightly powerful.
The 5650 support DX11, and is slightly less powerful than the 260m.

    Both are 1 GB DDR3.

Is there a big difference between DX10 and DX11?

Which one is the better buy?

    Games to run:

    Vindictus
    Assassins Creed I & II
    Battlefield Bad Company 2
    Runes of Magic

    Ooh. Okay.

I'll go with the 5650. It evens it out with the fact that it is a DX11, and the 260m being a little powerful.

    Thanks

The GTX260m is roughly 20% more powerful in terms of pure processing power, and up to around 40% in certain games, which is somewhat significant if you ask me.

Dx10.1 doesn't perform that great for games that support Dx11 like BC2, though, and you'll have to force the game to run on Dx10 :P

The HD5650 will get you 30fps in BC2 on average; the GTX260m will get you around 40. Pick your poison.

Gamebooster doesn't significantly improve framerates unless you have lots of background applications running.

    This is my laptop.
You can probably find a similarly specced laptop for cheaper, but this one is super cool (I've yet to see it go over around 60 degrees on full load). Iunno about other models, though.
