Default Is RoM still worth playing? Is anyone playing it?

I got a request and a question about RoM.

What MMORPGs are there that have a unique style or theme or world or classes or a different setup from most others?

Also, does anyone play RoM anymore or is it of any good? It was one of the better F2P MMORPGs I've played, but it does have problems like stated before which causes atleast some people here to dislike it, like class balance issues, dual-class system feels too daunting, lags even though it isn't the most graphically and worldly impressive F2P MMORPG on the market (but that's not to say it isn't one of the better looking F2P MMOs I've played), sometimes revealing and skimpy outfits for female characters (though that's common in atleast some MMO(RPG)s and I doubt anyone wants to talk about that. Especially most of our male players who like it), cash shop problems, etc.

I guess this became more of a thread talking about RoM than one asking about what MMORPGs have unique features.

Maybe it's because I have learned and realized that after making many topics asking for different things, there's only the same ones available that I have no interest in.

There for, I decided to post it here instead of the request section.

I've found myself returning to RoM from time to time, but throwing it away after a week of playing or so, most of the times. I have mixed feelings about this game, because it is a bit too much time consuming and quests are repetetive and boring, to be honest.

sometimes revealing and skimpy outfits for female characters
So true, but that's a common thing in MMO's. Male outfits on the other hand, are either gay or just plain ugly in RoM.

It's a solid and popular game, that will have a playerbase until the very end. But it's a generic title, with nothing too innovative - even after so much updates. If you don't want anything fancy, then go ahead and return to this game.

I'm having a hard time trying to find something fresh and fun in the MMO genre right now, so I wouldn't like to play RoM myself. ;d

I have mixed feelings about it alot.

It's not a terrible game, and it's more interesting than most F2P MMORPGs I've seen, but it does have some noticeable and notable flaws.

I kinda want one that's kinda like this game that I play called Kingdom Hearts. I don't want an Kingdom Hearts MMO since I can't see how that would work out, but just something that has some similarities to it.

Anyways, I'm gonna go try RoM. Not to say that it will be great, but I'm almost certain it's gonna be better than some if not most F2P MMORPGs I've played, though that's just my opinion.

I'm also gonna try Mabinogi again. It's a pretty cool game.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game-serie as well and yes, the features in the game would work out very well. A KH mmo on the other hand, wouldn't do any good for me, since 75% of the KH-franchise is based on it's epic storyline.

For Runes of Magic: it is fun, untill level 25. Then it gets repetetive, boring and you see yourself doing the same quests every day, which isn't worth it.

    Me too.

I would play Rift: Planes of Telara, if I knew my computer could handle it and if I had money for P2P.

    I have, but it's blocked.

But I suppose it isn't too different from waiting until I have money to pay for the monthly fee.

Hey, which game should I try first? Allods Online or RoM?
