Well, I found a comic cover from some Archie comic showing him and Betty at the beach, and he was carrying Betty in the water to shore to save her for some reason, and he said "it wasn't easy. I had to beat off 3 other guys!"

Now, I'm sure he means fight them off, but not focusing on the funny and perverse possible meaning, I wonder what was really happening.

I just remember seeing it on a website called "Super Dickery".
