hi people, this is just a general thread about gpotato and im quite intrested to readwhat you think about them.
i personaly have a grudge against them, perhaps even more then with nexon
2 things bugs me. one is CS and the other is their adverts.
lets start with CS
ALL gpoato games have had issues with Cs, whether its the little known ones like in Tales Runner or the ones that that everyone knows about, like Allods Online (I know they've fixed it kinda but it should never have happened in the first place, its the only game i know in which CS had depleted alot of players.)
ill give you an example
in tales runner you gain fury by jumping onto red X plates but thats not the point. fury is when you enter a mode where you go really fast and you can knock people over. All players can gain fury but people who pay will gain 50% more fury and also the duration of fury mode will last 50% longer.... thats just totally pay2win
2nd issue is advertisments
Most of you probaly wouldve seen it, mostly on youtube. there disgusting
basicly on the advert theres a picture of a girl with massively unrealistic bobs (delibarate spelling mistake )
the girls arent real but still its dugusting
ill give you 2 examples. for rappelz theres the slogan, beatuful girls beaiful worlds. thats just BS
in allods adverts theres 2 elves with there massively photoshopped buts (again spelling mistake) hanging out and the words come play with me
allods is a pretty decent game, very good in fact, i dont get why they have to ruin it with those adverts.
i played rappelz for like 10 weeks back in the days and its also very decent ( back in the days) and its such a shame that gpotato have gotten so desparate as to doing that kind of BS advertisments.
Again please post what you think, i know im not like this usually in the forums (lol) and i am a boy but i still dont think its right to use girls as lures.

Sex sells, and while you say it's disgusting there's plenty of people who have clicked the advertisement and played the game just for those characters.
But most free game companies are going to have an OP Cash Shop since it's hard to give people their moneys worth, whilst being balanced.
Sadly,if gpotato didn't do all those cs's they wouldn't have gotten as far as they did now.unlike PWE who actually found a problem for getting real-cash(easy-get by cash,hard-get by coins) meaning you can take the easy way out and buy cash,or take the hard/long way and use in-game currency to buy the items from players who used cash to buy it!
only game i find cs to be REALLY troubling in is Flyff.one word?it sucked.
I am now playing Iris Online and its really fun.and I don't even think it has a cash shop...(does it?)
