About the "playerbase" thing

Sry for asking, but i`m wondering if you guys update the "playerbase" rating from time to time, or you just rate it "low/medium/high" when you make the review and then never update it.
Because i want to start playing some new game (HOTK) and i don't know if ppl are still playing it or not.

The thing about reviews is that they have a shelf life. Game reviews are usually always done fairly early on when the game has been first released or is readily available to the market looking at the game.

Of course over time things mentioned in a review can and will change. However going back and reviewing every single game that has changed wouldn't allow us to review the new ones! That's not to say we wont, but re-reviewing an older game vs reviewing a newer game is almost always going to go in favor of the newer.

All of that info aside we will see about 9Dragons

This basically explains it IMO. When a game gets a new review it will update the "playerbase" counter if there are any big changes in that direction.
