I'd have to say that this blog needs work. Here are my main complaints:

1) The background and logo are very poor and 2001-esque. I'm sure a graphics pro at some forum would be willing to help you out on that.

2) Grammar and punctuation mistakes make the blog harder to read. After a period or comma there NEEDS to be a space. And I don't know if I even saw an apostrophe while skimming.

3) Graphics, not graphix

4) Topics don't mesh well. Basketball and MMOs have nothing in common and you're bound to alienate a large part of your audience who doesn't want to read about one or the other.
