yeah...i'd suggest the Sanctuary area from Perfect World...it's breathtaking if you use max settings, also easy to get there after lvl 30 when you get your flying mount ....and also, from the same game, if you make it past lvl 89 you can see the Heaven/Hell areas Momagnon and Lothrains (somewhat instanced) that look really special
as for starting areas...meh idk...i don't quite remember any of them in particular
