I'm playing Dragonica at IAHGames server and every person I've met talks in some sort of dribble. Well, most people.
Everyone I've met so far is completely incapable of spelling, that it's like reading a 9 year old trying to type.
I just tried to buy a headgear off of someone and I had to ask him three times what he was saying, before I had to just simply say "80 g for head, you sell me?", to of which he replied "yes == si i put trd edi", I asked him what Edi even meant, and apparently it was 'Already'. I majorly facepalmed at how someone could even see a resemblance between that.
GunZ the Duel has better community for spelling, but everyone is an egotistical jerk who practically insults anyone who beats them, or loses to them that there's no need to even bother saying 'Hello' to them without some large rant on how much you (supposedly) suck.
For me 30% of the LoL community.
But every game has their trolls and their kids and I cant really find a bad community. I find good communities though, in Forsaken World, Loong, florensia (community kept me playing for a whole year), and S4 League
Dragonica by IAHGames is beginning to become one of my top #3 worst communities ever.
The higher I go, the more crap people start to become. I suppose it doesn't help I chose the most underpowered class in the game, but people are just horrible. There's just no respect anywhere.
Well on European servers most people are usually German and don't speak much English. Unless there is a German server. On euRO and WonderKing EU for example you basically talked German by default because it was more likely that the people you talk with speaks German than English. If the person signalizes he/she doesn't talk German I of course can also talk in English with him/her. :-)
Language barrier shouldn't really be part of "bad community", though. It might be that a person just seems to be stupid to you but if actually pretty intelligent and just doesn't really know your language/english.
In games that look fairly cute the main problem is that there are many young gamers. But even those are not all stupid. In WonderKing our guild leader was only 13 years old and he was fairly intelligent and helped everyone in the guild a lot.
That being said I really often have problems with communities. Especially on games that have been running for a while. Many players are too "elite". This is not in all MMORPGs either, though. The worst communities are those that are pretty much non-existant. Where you run around and don't see a single player. You can't join instances because they require a full party but you can never find enough to do it with you. That's horrible.
