I'm playing Dragonica at IAHGames server and every person I've met talks in some sort of dribble. Well, most people.
Everyone I've met so far is completely incapable of spelling, that it's like reading a 9 year old trying to type.
I just tried to buy a headgear off of someone and I had to ask him three times what he was saying, before I had to just simply say "80 g for head, you sell me?", to of which he replied "yes == si i put trd edi", I asked him what Edi even meant, and apparently it was 'Already'. I majorly facepalmed at how someone could even see a resemblance between that.
GunZ the Duel has better community for spelling, but everyone is an egotistical jerk who practically insults anyone who beats them, or loses to them that there's no need to even bother saying 'Hello' to them without some large rant on how much you (supposedly) suck.
For me 30% of the LoL community.
But every game has their trolls and their kids and I cant really find a bad community. I find good communities though, in Forsaken World, Loong, florensia (community kept me playing for a whole year), and S4 League
Dragonica by IAHGames is beginning to become one of my top #3 worst communities ever.
The higher I go, the more crap people start to become. I suppose it doesn't help I chose the most underpowered class in the game, but people are just horrible. There's just no respect anywhere.
i have to agree with dragonica having the most crap comunity in a game...sadly it was the comunity that kicked me away form there before even getting to know a bit the game...at very low lvls i had a stalker that was following me around and telling me in a crappy english to give him the mony because they are his..at least i assume that's what he said...ROFL
i'm not gonna look back..hell with that game
i also hate the comunity in Runes of Magic, as it was stated above..i've yet to meet someone that talks english in european servers. i used to play before the turks were banned and except for random letters that were supposed to be turkish words i only met german speakers (even if they had their own server) and some crap-english speakers...and i got to mid game and i still didn't do my low lvl instances even if i was a priest/mage...oh and trust me i'm very friendly in games
and i don't like PWI comunity....i've never seen in my gamer life any bloody game where ppl afk that much as in PWI...you see them standing in the same laggy place for hours and hours on huge mounts that make the game lag even worse...there are a few key spots where they afk like on the platform for bounty or in front of auction house...you can't even click a npc because of 100 afk weirdos wasting world's electricity for nothing lol
oh and AION's comunity...the desperate spoiled brats that don't wanna do crap in an instance if they don't get wat they want...exactly when they want ("you want me to heal in this instance...gimme 100 mana pots NAO and also the first yellow gear that drops even if it's not for me")..they start to be a real issue in the game and it's depressing to pay 15 bucks/month to see them ranting EVERY BLOODY TIME of how poor they are and how special they are...but before NCsoft makes this game a buy to play or even FTP game they rather distroy it completely or see it die...on an everage day in US+Europe there aren't more than 400k players
geesh..so much ranting..sorry guys i shall stop now...even if...WoW's community with those bloody know it alls...ok ok..i'm done lol:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Well on European servers most people are usually German and don't speak much English. Unless there is a German server. On euRO and WonderKing EU for example you basically talked German by default because it was more likely that the people you talk with speaks German than English. If the person signalizes he/she doesn't talk German I of course can also talk in English with him/her. :-)
Language barrier shouldn't really be part of "bad community", though. It might be that a person just seems to be stupid to you but if actually pretty intelligent and just doesn't really know your language/english.
In games that look fairly cute the main problem is that there are many young gamers. But even those are not all stupid. In WonderKing our guild leader was only 13 years old and he was fairly intelligent and helped everyone in the guild a lot.
That being said I really often have problems with communities. Especially on games that have been running for a while. Many players are too "elite". This is not in all MMORPGs either, though. The worst communities are those that are pretty much non-existant. Where you run around and don't see a single player. You can't join instances because they require a full party but you can never find enough to do it with you. That's horrible.
