Age of Conan - Free To Play?

Granted, the game's improved a BUNCH since release, but there's hardly any players, even following numerous server merges... do you guys (those that have played it) think there's a chance of it going F2P, even after the recent expansion?

It seems to be the 'new thing' going on with games following the P2P model which aren't exactly going anywhere fast.

I wouldnt hold my breath for a 18 or 16+ game to go f2p especially from how much they spent on making this monster.

Would be nice and surely would give it a go^^
