Reputation: 10I like a definitive leveling system, but thats probably becuase I'm to lazy to focus on 5 different skills(3 if you want to be generic) to up my combat level. I'm all for multiple profressions that level up seperatly, but I like my monsters to give me EXP in my actual level.. Not my swings getting me EXP in 1 of 5 different things. Leveling overall in runescape was a major pain.
Reputation: 6From the looks at the bad trailer, people's bad comments on the game and the fact that it's been in development hell for a good long time and, while showing SOME progress, is still hardly any closer to being finished, I think this game is gonna suck.
It takes years to make such game, take for example Forsaken World has been under development for 3 years, or Age of Conan also like 4 years or more. We can expect it to be pay to play thats for sure.
Reputation: 10this leveling system has become rather banal and as every game uses it, its gets really boring, because the game simply evolves around the leveling and they just have different content:
one is about samurai/nin/monk
other is about knight/wizard/archer
third is about pirate/robber
etc.
so games are pretty much the same, runescape makes a difference, but i find it quite limited, graphically...
someone should come up with new and more involving system, like a newly made character can compete with character that has been played for 3 months or so.. like 1lvl can beat 120lvl ...
thats like in shooter games, in AVA there are levels, and yet a private can own a sarge or corp ...
we need difference.. imagine games in 30 years - graphics like real life and still those lame levels
I think Dragon Sky didnt have levels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx3gqi87CA8 but aeria shut it down![]()
Aeria shuts down many good games. It's very risky to play on their servers. :3
