After the abrupt closure of Thang Online in 2009 by its former lesee, the owner of Thang Online has set out to republish his game. Much debate came after the closure of such a wonderful and simplest game about how Thang Online would never return; years later the community has come together and a new Thang has formed, with full support of Copyright owner Peter Yoon, "Jaca Entertainment Inc."
ThangMMO was relaunched in Mid April 2011 due to high player demand, with a New Developer team & Game Master team. With old Thang bugs finally getting the right fixes, the player base is excited and more happier than ever; along with a great management team this once fallen off the map game is back in it for the long haul.

Thang Online is a free MMORPG with fully 3D graphics that offers heavy doses of action. In fact, it would not be a stretch to say that Thang is in the same mold of other action RPGs such as Diablo and Guild Wars. This game offers several interesting features such as rare monsters, combat skill advancement through use rather than just leveling, a unique power pool called Ki, skills found by certain boxes that are randomly spawned, and equipment improvements that are called "refinements". One of the most interesting aspects of the game has to be the way it handles monsters. Instead of spawning the exact same monsters repeatedly, monsters transform to react differently to each player.
