EU players played on NY backup servers only before the server split.

You create a new account, I could see some 30s using their rune pages and saying they aren't, well I wouldn't but I just wanna make sure everyone is on the same level. Oh, and with your new account, you won't have some summoner spells, and some newer players don't have those as well. Btw, my ping is the same on NA as it is on EU, basically because the NA servers are all the way across the country from me, so I don't mind which servers we play on

I don't think so, and if that was be the case then Riot would have been directly lying to us in the Platform Split FAQ.

How can I expect the service to improve following the split?

Queue times should be far shorter, and platform stability should be vastly improved as a result of the split. Additionally, the new, dual platform environment should eliminate the need for New York based overflow servers.

Does this mean that we won’t have to play on New York servers anymore?

Yes. Once the split is complete, each platform will be armed with a self-sufficient number of game servers. You should no longer find yourself on an emergency server in New York.

I get like 150+ on the US servers and I live here.. On EU I was getting 64, I think something is terribly wrong...
