Well the big recent releases are definitely Dragon Nest and Eden Eternal.
DN is an 3D anime inspired action mmo. It's fairly fast paced, and I've heard it plays a lot like Vindictus (personally have no idea as I haven't played Vindictus yet).
EE is your normal run of the mill anime inspired mmorpg with the added element that you can switch between any class freely at any given time with the only catch being you have to unlock most of them, that and you have to level each class independently (character level and class level also level up independently).
Those 2 games have drawn much of the attention lately. Also in closed beta is Rusty Hearts which, whilst interesting, isn't much of a standout as of yet. It's a 3D action MMO as well.
Hellgate London got released as Hellgate Global as a f2p game with a once off payment of $4 to gain access to act 3 and beyond.
Those are the recent releases of any import that I have actual experience in. Can't remem much of what actually got released in the last 5 months, mainly cause I've been switching through mmos so regularly I've lost track of when each one actually came out.
