I dunno if you agree with me but in the first one right under his left eye is some sort of liquid. In the first one it looks like he's bleeding. In the second one it looks like he's crying.

Also, I can see the transparent background. Maybe fill it up with a faded gun or something.

I like the second better.
If I was gonna rate it. I pretend the background was fully completed.
