    Default Dungeons And Dragons Online

Promoting my currently favorite game and why everyone else should play it w/ me and join me in a huge guild and pwn a bunch of Kobolds

    • No grind - You can repeat some quests one, two or three times but you won't need to grind for exp at all. Maybe at endgame you will need to grind, but for gear, which is not necessary if you want to True Reincarnate (Put the character back to Level 1, keeping all your items and giving you some innate boosts).
    • All action, all fun - In this game you'll always be excited, whether you're being overwhelmed by dozens mobs who paralyze and attack you, or fighting a huge Dragon with your teammates.

    • Traps - In DDO you'll find a good ammount of traps to surprise you from nowhere, whether they're flaming from pipes, spikes a la Tomb Raider or even deadly (not really :P) poisons.

    • Character costumization to the limit! - You'll find that you can create your character from head to toe (figuratively), you can costumize your skills (Such as the height you jump, your tumbling effectiveness, your aggro-grabbing skills and much more), your abilities (STR, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha), your Feats (Special abilities that complement your character and open up more options such as Metamagics (Feats that make your spells cost more but be more effective) or combat feats (Feats that make you have trade-off a certain stat to boost another) and much more), select your spells from a the widest range you've ever seen! And finally, enhancements that boost your Abilities, skills, feats and spells!

    • Use your reflexes and strategy to win! - Stealth is a feature common to all classes! (Of course some classes will never be as good stealthers as others), all you need to do is put skill points into "Hide" and "Move Silently" or cast an Invisibility spell on yourself! Use Jump and Tumble to evade enemy attacks and control your targets with a wide range of CC spells - Such as Charming enemies to fight for you, paralyzing them or making them fall asleep - and abilities - Such as tripping or stunning your enemies.

    • Challenging gameplay! - Sick of games being too easy? Fear no more! DDO has an "Elite" difficulty on quests that make them much harder to win, the monsters on this difficulty will have higher saves on your spells and will hit much harder, and so will the traps!

    • 11 classes to choose from - Choose from Fighter, Barbarian, Paladin, Monk, Cleric, Sorcerer, Wizard, Favored Soul, Rogue, Ranger or Bard! and soon to come - Artificer!

    • Constant Updating - This game never stops and is always progressing, Turbine launches a new massive update every few months, so stay tuned!

    • Come now to Orien and join me in the guild I'm in (Legends of Orien), a bunch of helpful and active people.

It's all great, but don't you get tired of your character swinging his weapon from right to left..

In Vindictus, Dragon Nest and Divine Souls your characters does all kinds of awesome attacks, while in DDO it's just right-left right-left.
I take it DDO is a non-targeting game, at least that's what I saw on Omer's video.

    DDO isn't about the combat.

I'm talking about the normal attacks.
    So, targeting explains it. xD

Don't have normal attacks? Fine, that's what you think and I respect it..
Of course, and I still haven't gotten the answer on my first question. Mind you if I ask some more, or should I find answers somewhere else?

I thought it had been answered as I explained you that there's far more to DDO than swinging a weapon.

As a Bard, this is what I do: I buff people, I charm monsters, I heal people, I fascinate monsters and I swing my weapon.
As a Wizard, this is what I do: I burn monsters, I freeze monsters, I throw magic missiles at monsters, I enfeeble monsters, I hypnotize monsters, I sleep monsters, I buff people
    Those are my current classes.

Edit: If you think I'm wrong about the normal attacks, please correct me. Because as far as normal attacks go, I figure them to be automatic swinging of a weapon with a button.
