I don't like turn-based, it feels like you are forced to attack. what about you?

    Real Time hands down

Destroy the unworthy that don't appreciate the life that was given to them

its the same. "real time" the char is forced to attack at intervals. unless its point and click. I will say I preffer 4s games cause they are so lazy. turn based feels like I have to control every single facet of combat. Its alot more work. just me though ymmv.

Depends on the game really. For offline RPGs I don't like games that have the monsters right on the map screen, I need a separate "battle screen", but the battle inside can be action. Examples: Tales of... and Star Ocean.

Turn-based combat is only good if it's fast paced.

I think it depends on the type of game really. I could go for either Real time or Turn Based as long as the gameplay is good and there is plenty to do in the game besides combat ill be fine with it.
