    Default AMD or Intel

after watching the news(yes i watch it) and saw intel was laying off alot of workers it made me think of the preference on AMD processors or Intel.

Personally i prefer AMD for 2 reasons price and latter choice. I'm touchy on money i would do anything to save a buck or two. AMD is also where my dad used to work..that inspires to be with AMD processors even though intel has better quality.

    what do you guys think?

    Please read my above post.
    Thankyou.

The ONLY way that AMD currently has the upper-hand on Intel is that Intel's core CPUs don't have any dual CPU options. It only has single CPU mobos.
Dual Quadros still beat out the Cores big-time. But you got to remember that this is two CPUs vs. one. One-on-one, the Cores beat everything.
And the moment some nice mobo's come out for the cores, one that supports two core chips, it will be the serious power-house.
