As much as Finesse has the right to do it, I think it's stupid. Miller didn't make moolah from the tape, so it ain't like he has money that should have been Finesse's money. And it's even a law; You don't have the right to redistribute something without the owner's permission for the right to make money. He didn't make money.
Oscar Peterson first performed the song which was Remixed by lord finesse, then Lord Finesse's version was remixed by Mac, and Finesse doesn't like it, well, I'm sure Oscar Peterson would be cool with it.
You ask permission first. Even if he didn't make any money from it, he still used it and probably didn't even let Finesse know. Plus, I'm pretty biased because I don't like Mac Miller and I don't even think he is any good. I remember one of his lines "Nike's on my feet keep my cypher complete" is a complete steal from Nas' "The World is Yours". But that's just my take on this whole thing
^ i dont like him either but this could end mixtapes finesse is just greedy and bitter he himself made mixtapes useing other peoples beats and i bet he never asked permission. the law is so backwards mac diden't make any profit from this why should he get sued. so many artists start out by makeing mixtapes and useing other peoples beats like jon connor for example he made a whole mixtape of Eminem beats artists have been doing this for soo long and people like finesse are going to ruin it i liked finesse but now i cant even stand him
