Any good new wave bands to recommend?

I started listening to a few new wave/post-punk bands and I'm really enjoying their music.
Anyone wanna recommend me some good bands?

well obviously you should listen to Joy Division first if you haven't already, starting with this song

I'll let someone else recommend you their earlier industrial stuff, because tbh I've never really had any of it click with me to the degree that this album has.



this song is a classic.



post-punk was also the original goth music, or at least some of it was. but don't let that scare you away, bauhaus were a legitimately great band.



most of the original goth bands ****ing hated that label anyway. especially the Sisters of Mercy, whose singer trolled their fans by wearing a canary yellow shirt at live performances.



I still need to listen to more of The Fall, tbh, but this song is not only awesome on its own, it is about the singer of awesome krautrock band, Can.
