How much have you invested?

So, so how much do you think you've invested in video games (PC, console or otherwise) in the past decade?

For me, I've spent about $2,460 on MMO's, probably about $5,000 on singe-player games and consoles. That's just a rough estimate, and it could be thousands of dollars more or less. $2,600 on computers, computer hardware, and other useful computer stuff (desk, chairs, keyboards & mice, etc...)

Steam alone ate up about 1000USD from games alone already. Probably another 1500 on legit games (pc, psp, ds and ps2) and probably 800-ish on fees. About 2500 on hardware. That's about it I guess.

Last decade? Uhh, does buying computers and consoles count? If so, about 1000 dollars, if just including video games and console games then I'd say about 60 dollars.

Oh god, thousands and thousands. Especially since I started collecting. Fortunately enough, I feel like my investment has returned an equal (or better) amount of enjoyment.

Since I started collecting, probably ~$500 of retro purchases, but if I wanted to flip it and resell, I could easily get double or maybe even triple that.

Not more than $2000USD in my entire life. Bulk of it came from my own 'gaming' PC a 3 years ago..

I put $1000 into my PC.. then my PSU exploded (literally), and I had to spend another $800.
Given a 1080p LED 24inch monitor from a friend, luckily :P
$250-ish for headphones + amp (games gotta sound good).
I'd estimate around $500 for Super Nintendo + games.
$100 on a DS, about $300 more on games (just as expensive as console games...).
I actually only started using Steam recently, so only around $200 there.
I have filled up a little 400gb on PC games though. Average price probably $40/ea. Average size probably 7gb/ea.
I'm not gonna count the 6 years worth of WoW payments. I should have stopped at least a year before I did, because it certainly wasn't fun anymore at that point.

So... Just under $5000 I'm estimating?
