Soon, many losers who had no hope in the social realm came to like My Chemical Romance.
And now it is a common misconception that MCR is any where near emo, and only a person who knows their music history, knows what emo is.

I agree with you, Dreakon, about believing there shouldnt be any genre for music. However, I'd have to say they should at least keep a broad genre such as rock, rap, country, etc just screw all these lame azz sub genres that try to start trends.
I also agree with you, Tale. MCR is incredibly far from "emo", it's disgusting they should even be considered it in the first place. They are pop-punk, first thing that comes to mind.

This is Favourite My Chemical Romance song, not favourite song.
Anyway I agree that musics shouldn't have genre. In my opinion genres are for indecisive *** that doesn't know what song to listen to. He then picks a genre that everybody thinks is cool and start to listen to it so everybody will think his cool and won't get bullied like others who listen to music of the uncool genre. In my point of view a good song is a good song, doesn't have to be a song that blast my ears or those that are slow as snail. it's good? Listen to it!
My favourite MCR song is Helena and The Ghost of You. In fact those two are the only ones I listen to.
Oh and fun fact: The Ghost ofYou was No.1 in Singapore's Top 10 music chart.
