    Lightbulb Dragons Nest EU!

Hey i was just wondering is there a Dragons Nest EU for Eu players to play?
I know there is a Dragons Nest For NA and SEA but unfortunately i think im not able to play it.
Ive read websites announcing NA,SEA,EU would come out last year in 2011 but only 2 have been released and its been nearly a year i think since it came out.

Hoping for some update on it being released thx.

If I recall, Dragon Nest SEA allows European IPs to play.

SEA does allow all European IPs to play, so just play there. SEA has a great Community Manager/Producer. It's just an overall excellent version. I'm sad to say that I'm in USA and am forced to play the crappy NA version. :X

wouldn't SEA be incredibly laggy? they're not exactly known for great servers.

It depends.. No offense, but a lot of EU people have crappy net providers and net speeds. SEA sort of has the same issue. PH is known for horrid, expensive net providers. Either SG or MY is known for having the fibre wire installed throughout the country, thus providing a very fast and affordable net speed.

Overall, you will experience low to medium amount of lag no matter what. You're right in assuming SEA servers aren't great speed wise. For the most part, it isn't noticeable, though.

I agree ^-^ my net is crap and slow, but i don't always lag on games most of the time. The main reason i lag is probably when i get into MMORPG with massive amounts players compact into 1 map.

I live in the EU and I've played the SEA version since the closed beta.
In the start it was pretty awesome, and I've never experienced any lag.
But now.. the community is crushed. 90% of the population is PH
and you will see people talking PH in all types of chats making you
not understand a single word of what their saying. Which makes team
work in both dungeons and colo pretty hard. Trying to team up with
someone who doesn't even speak english.

From what I've seen the last few months, there are a lot of disrespective
pinoys in this game, which is the reason I quit. So if you decide to start now,
prepare to get a bit harassed in the start.

This is why EU versions have such a low population, not because there is no market for MMO's here, It's just takes forever to bring a game here. I'm surprised people are still interested in a EU version.

Everyone is complaining because of lag, and do you know why? BECAUSE THERE IS ONE!!!!!, You just think, that SPEED of INTERNET you have IS EVERYTHING. Well think again shitters. Its the range beetwen the server and you that counts. So please, get me the internet with 100GBPS in UK, and ping yourselves to KOREA server.... You'll get 300+ MS and that is a lot to play properly you must have the less amount of MS=PING. The less you have the better it is. And playing with 300+ MS and -70 MS is noticable.
The one that is downloading 100kb/s has the same ping as the one that downloads 100gb/s, IF THEY ARE FROM SAME AREA.

SAME AREA= SAME PING NO MATTER WHAT.

Now please *****es, look at the PING and the DISTANCE...... I have the best internet provider in my country. And I'm 300Miles away from Germany. I can ping FR, PL, IT, HUN, I'll have the same amount of PING.

So please don't be so smart next time.

seems like your network providers need to do some better routing.

Latency doesn't really mean bad lag anyway. If just means that your inputs will lead to movements a bit later and that you will see connected damage later. I got used to it just after a few days and already pressed buttons earlier to account for it and stuff. Wasn't really a problem for me.
