    Default Aion Question!

    hello all,

So question about Aion. How grindy is grindy? I mean we looking at over 10 days of gameplay time to hit max level?

Also what would be the best thing about Aion?

The grind isn't too bad there are alot of quests but you will level alot faster in abyss compared to doing quests/repeats etc.

Abyss can be a bit overwhelming if you solo so it's much better to find a guild and goto abyss with them incase you run into pkers.

As for reaching max in 10 days.. i guess it's possible but you really need to know the game decently well and where to level.

But yeah having an active helpful guild will help greatly seeing they can mentor you (Mentoring allows them to kill high level mobs and letting you get all the exp).

It's well worth playing tho.. so have fun :>

I'd say it needs around 500 hours playing time to reach max level. Maybe less if you are an experienced player. Usually experienced players manage to get from level 1 to max level in around a month. Inexperienced players need around 3 months.

    Good things about Aion:
    - great graphics and nice scenery
    - high quality ("polish")
    - good PVE and PVP (quite PVP-driven, though, as pure PVE player you will have problems)
    - fast-paced combat with many skills
    - thousands of quests, no need to grind as there are always more quests available than you can even do without reaching max level, some quests are actually quite good, others are just the normal "Kill X mobs", story is fairly good as well and very character-centered (usually MMORPGs have more world-centered quests and the character is just one of many "adventurers")
    - possibility to grind is still there, they made the perfect balance between questing and grinding, so no matter what you do, you level up at about the same speed

Aion is THE recommended game if:
    - you are looking for an F2P MMORPG of high quality and good PVP

    Aion is NOT recommend if:
    - you want action-based combat
    - you are a pure PVE player
    - you want something really unique

Only real alternative to Aion is Allods if we go by quality and F2P.

What makes the pve bad in Aion? Also does Allodd online or Aion have a higher playerbase

Aion has grind? Lol no. It's one of the least grindy games there are honestly. It used to be grindy in version 1.5 and earlier, but that's years ago.

And yes, Aion has the higher player base.

PVE isn't bad in Aion, but if you are a pure PVE player you will be frustrated because of the open PVP. High geared players killing you all the time when you just want to do some quests.
