Default Most disappointing MMORPG of 2011-2012 in your opinion?

    Here are my top ones

    1) D3. Yes I know this isn't technically an MMORPG, but I feel it needs to be mentioned. The game has so many glaring issues that I really wish it didn't come out, on top of this all the hype for this game and it basically fell flat on its face.

    2) Divina online. I am not going to lie, this game seemed like the best anime mmorpg out there. Until it became the next Fiesta within 3 months of it's release. Heck it is worse than Fiesta in some regards, mainly the costumes. In the 16 or so content updates Divine has had so far, 13 have been about the cash shop.

    3) Tera online. This game had such potential, it was sad to see that the developer know nothing of the genre and is letting it fall flat on it's face.

all of them lol, i cant decide so i guess ill go with Tera aswel.

nothing wrong with diablo 3 imo, people just expected too much from it since they were waiting for 10 years. its a fun game i spend nearly 200 hours on already and ive come back to it for some monster smashing and loot grinding 3 times now. (of course i expected more from it also)

tbh i think tera was the only mmo that didn't really disappoint.
everyone knew what it was gonna be like, unlike swtor and tsw.

Hard to pick when there are so many, the last 12 months have been a complete flop in MMOs. Less being made, most anticipated ones failing.

Just hoping the next 6 months turns out a bit better now that people are starting to look into even more pricing models and alternate modes of play.

for me is a tie between D3 and SWToR...its amazing how 2 different developers with shitloads of money and pure golden IPs could so such a terrible, terrible job.

F2P games arent even worth mentioning, its would be a total shocker for me if one of them wasnt a total dissapointment....actually, I dont even know how someone can have the smallest hope in any of them to start with.
We must go forward, not backward. Upward, not forward. And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

    Currently Playing:
    - Guild Wars 2

    Waiting for:
    - Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade

To me... Swtor. I remember seeing the trailer and watching my friends play it and being all excited. When I actually played it, it got sooooo tedious in some planets. And the fact that if you complete all sidequests in 1 planet, youll probably be higher level than what your supposed to be D: .

I don't really count D3 as an MMO, nor the entire Diablo series, nor StarCraft. They're just multiplayer, not massively so. C9 is Massively because everyone can go in the same town and converge. Thousands of players in one area visibly with each of their avatars on the same screen.

    Guild Wars 2
I wasn't expecting much from anything.
I think anyone thats actually played GW2 knows just how mediocre it is. It's not terrible, but a mediocre MMO isn't great either
