I walk with my head up, unless im looking at my phone. Eye contact is just what it is, eye contact. Most people will smile, or do nothing. I dont see what the problem here is. I've always been taught to look folk in the eyes.
It gets awkward though, if you're in a class room, and you make eye contact with like a girl or something, and then you look back, and they look back, and now they think you're looking at them..lol.
