    The one good thing I got out of DeVry University: Tons of free Microsoft software, including Windows 7

    I use Avast coupled with Malwarebytes.

    theres a lot tbh but theres no "perfect one" it depends on you. Some av will slow down your pc. Just use malwarebytes. If you download lots of files then get comodo or any other free avs.

    If you don't download anything (just browsing the web) then just install malwarebytes, disable it from running on your pc 24/7 and run couple scans every month-ish.
