Is Wurm Online pay-to-win? It sure seems that way.

I was looking at the Wurm Online wiki and comparing free play to premium and is it just me or is this the most pay-to-win game ever?

Wat. It's subscription based, when was that ever "pay-to-win"? Pay-to-win is when you can pay 50 bucks to get a low orbital ion cannon and wreck everyone's shit.

Free accounts are basically unlimited trials in Wurm. Honestly, I played for at least 2 years with just free accounts and had a blast and It's only 10 bucks to get 2 months of in-game time, not only that, you can do odd jobs and earn Silvers from people in the game and purchase a sub with that with no real money put into it.

It's also worthy of note that the game has "Traders" who sell items for money.

The only way to get money? Selling Items to Traders (Extremely slow, good luck.) or paying real money for it.

You can also trade items with other players for this money, but, the money has to come from somewhere in the first place.

Items you can buy from traders include:

An item which spawns a Q99 Vein of Ore of your choice with the maximum number of ore in it.
Items that remove the death penalty.
Chests that prevent decay for certain items.
Items that give rested EXP time.
Items that let you teleport.

And other such stuff.

For most. This is basically a cash shop.
