Is tera online dead already?

I have played for the last week or so as much as I can, and I have gotten a character to level 20 on three different servers and have not seen but maybe 2 people the whole time.

Theres not even anyone in the main town that you go to after island of dawn..

Is this game dead already?

It's lost a huge chunk of it's playing base since it's opened that's for sure.

I'm sure there are players that are already high level that still play but I doubt you will see too many lowbie chars walking around.

It's obvious Tera will go f2p in the future.. once that happens then I'm sure the game will be pretty popular.

PS : I don't play Tera and never have but I have read plenty of comments about it, I would probably play it if it was f2p tho.

I definitely think the game needs a world chat though. Currently the best thing they have to world chat is Area chat and thats kinda gay cause I went through the first three maps in less than a day. I spent maybe all of 10 minutes in the major town. Would be nice to be able to chat outside of my area.

From what I read on the forums, yes its pretty dead. I enjoyed the open pvp servers on one of the betas. It was utter chaos xD so much fun.

Scared to go onto the PVP servers. All i can think of is bored high levels ganking new players, because they are all 30 + years old and still have not had a girl friend.
