Hi guys, can we not outright say, "Derp, the game is a crappy port so I'm gonna pirate it and tell everyone I'm gonna pirate it because pirating crappy ports is clearly the best thing to do"?
All your really doing is telling the developers that yeah, the FPS lock and all that sucks, but you're going to play the game anyway.

Does anyone know how to remap gamepad buttons, using a custom pad, not Xbox or PS3 and the mapping is really messed up but I can't seem to change it in game. Any help please?

Well, the point is that if not using an X360 pad your gamepad will either not work at all or work 'partially'. For example my gamepad had right analog with switched Axes (X was Y) so if was almost impossible to manouver the camera, The triggers were misplaced and AB/XY/Start/Select each in a different position than it should be.
But nevermind, managed to fix it with some X360 gamepad emulator, now everything works like it should ;]

I will not support a company that can't be half assed to make a proper port when the community can do that just fine.
Buying this game is telling the company that these work ethics are okay and tolerable.
