How many months do you let it grow out before you decide to cut it? Just curious about everyone else because I usually get mine cut around every 3 months and my friend says that's a pretty long time for a guy.

I get a haircut/Shape up every 1 - 2 weeks. I did for awhile, grow my hair out for 5 months since my hair is curly, but my barber didn't know how to do the hair cut I wanted with a taper in the front, and I had a important event to goto, which limited my time, so I ended up going back to a wave length hair cut ( basically only a few cms). I refuse to grow it back out cause its too much to manage in the growing stage.

Depends. Mostly when it really starts to bother. So sometimes it could be 1-2 months, but I could even let it grow for 6-8months before it bothers me.

i usually go every 3 weeks, its actually been over a month and a half since my last hair cut though, i just keep procrastinating it since i moved and have to find a new barber.

Mine used to be whenever I got drunk enough to decide my hair was too long. I'd cut it in the mirror myself lol.
But I met a girl recently who cuts hair and shes here quite often, so I'd say every 3 weeks or so, I have her trim the new growth. So my hair never really gets past an inch of its current length.
If I PAID for haircuts? Shit, prolly once every 6 months

Whenever I feel the need to cut it myself. Mostly completely shave it. Sometimes shave it into a mohawk and leave it for a couple months then shave it off again. I dont like paying for haircuts. Seems silly.

Bangs just look girly on a guy. When my hair is long, it is always pulled back into a ponytail, or in a single braid.

When I used to cut my own hair I did it every 2 months or so. Now since I like my hair longer and it's harder to just buzz, I only get it cut every 4-6 months when it starts getting in my eyes. Also because I'm cheap I don't like paying to have someone cut it for me.
