Which is better? I think those games are very similar and I want to try/play only 1 of them. I'm pretty much a casual player, spending 1-2 hours/day on a MMORPG.

Well Eligium has closed down.. and battle/war of the immortals is 'ok' for a casual player..you level pretty fast.
good luck trying to get a decent pet without using the cash shop.
seeing as they both are free what's stopping you from trying both?
