Reputation: 344Well it's not really an increase of bots but rather the lack of action taken against them. Back in the day, the moment a bot thread went up, it was instantly dealt with. Now they can stay up as long as a few days. Seems someone is slacking off.

We, mods, delete them as soon we see them or get notified about them. In some forums with lesser activity it might be indeed the case they stay up for a tad longer but as I said, when we see them or get notified about them they get thrashed.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.
Yea any help with reporting these threads helps us get them taken off the site faster. Hopefully Bowen can find a more permanent solution soon though as we are getting seriously targeted by shady SEO spammers.
