    Default ps3 controllers

So I smashed my cheap third party controller.

Anyone have another $10 alternative? This one worked alright but the spring in the batteries broke off quickly and I had to rig it up to work.

Ones you have personal experience are best.

the official ones cost like thirty something dollars, right?

and unless if you smash em, they'll probably last at least three times as long.

I remember one time I pushed the right trigger on a friend's third party 360 controller and the back part of the trigger (the part you push) got stuck inside the controller and the front part popped out. so, in practice, since we were playing cod 2, I couldn't stop shooting :/.

also, the aiming was terrible even before that, because third party controllers are just usually pretty terrible.

edit: I've never smashed a controller, though. if you can't resist the urge, disregard my advice xd

Well I have a nice Sony brand one, but I dislike using it because I have to remember to charge it haha. It wouldn't be so big of a deal, but my PS3 is like 10 feet away from where I play...and I generally don't just leave my PS3 on without me using it. I charge it while I watch a movie on netflix but I forget a lot.

I guess I could search for the one I had, it was great and worked great, but when I was replacing the batteries the spring fell out. Thats the only problem I ever had with it. Actually, thats whats making it broken now. I threw it and the spring is lost lol.

Edit: Also, the official ones are more like $50 unfortunately. If it were $30 I'd do it in a heartbeat. And get a charging station so it wouldn't be a problem.
