I really thought this game was gonna be a turd in the punch bowl. However it looks like it could actually resemble TES.

Well, with 20 years of lore, I am hoping I will come across a lot of the stories from the books you can read from the series. Also, looking forward to possibly some nostalgia from some of the older ES games.

Hmm. Would like to see thieving like in the other games. Breaking in, taking all their stuff and not getting discovered is one of the most fun things in Elder Scrolls games for me.

If this game want to stay alive and make money it need to go with the guild wars 2 method. not P2P. The p2p model is died till wow get shutdown

Mortal Online does first-person melee combat in an MMO environment kinda well. Well, they've had some desync issues in combat. But it's not so bad anymore and they are continuously tweaking and changing the prediction so its less and less buggy. I still enjoy the combat, though.

This video is blocked in some countries, so sorry if you cannot view it:

Since this video was made last year, movement has been changed a lot, so moving around like you're on crack isn't so much a thing. Also, more weapons have been tweaked and made viable (you notice that almost everyone in that video either has a polesword (like me) or a two-handed greatsword).

Also, the game looks a lot better than that. The combat was at night tho, so I had brighten the video so you could see.

Edit: Keep in mind that Mortal Online is developed by a small indie team.

WoW After playing Oblivion and now Skyrim its painfully obvious that Elder Scrolls is going down hill.. Now with an Elder scrolls MMO there is even more proof this game has gone down the toilet.
Thanks for Morrowind and the 1's before.
Sad to see you are following in the footsteps of the sponge bob generation.
