Just pay for your games...
It reduces the amout of hackers by a lot.
Well, in games where the people actualy care, MMOFPS etc. they tend not to.
But monthly subscription games usually try and stick it to hackers/botters.
Then again, in cRO's case they decided to pull the plug on one anti-bot thing because *gasp* it worked... causing people to close a lot of accounts.
So, pick em carefully, but don't expect much from free games since they're usually flooded with noobs/script kiddies.
It annoys me when people call no talent know nothings hackers just because they can press a button on a program...

Well hacking is like stealing.. Its obsession for everybody. Every person has at least abit greed on him. Would the idea attravtive you if you see a 1000 dollar on your teacher's table and he went to coffee, would you want to take it? I know many would prefer not to take it, but it still comes in mind. Same with hacking, sometimes it comes in mind that: "aah Im sick of these quests, I wish theres some hack that can get you 100 crystals and make your all armors +9". Of course it was a joke, but isnt it tempting.
Actually I know many ppl always state that they hate hackers above all, but when they know how to hack, they hack more than anyone else...

Because it's fun. That's why it grows. Hackers hack, noobs run up to them and ask them if they can show them how to do it. Most likely, Hacker will:

A. Lead them to a Scam Site
B. Show them how to do it privately
C. Ignore

then it goes from there.

Yeah, because Man was created that way. You just have to deal with it, I know. But think on the bright side, Technically, without Cheats/Hacks, they would just be another noob on the street saying MONEYPLZZ. And, All the noobs trying to learn from hackers and doing it themselves, they're wasting all their time trying to hack, that they won't find a good job in the real world, so they are stuck at Mcdonald's serving fries for 30 years.

And I, will live in a house with a wife and could afford 90000 subscriptions of WoW. Beat that foo.

My thinking exactly and it's pretty funny when you do completely own a cheater too or can avoid them easily while they give it their all. Also.. tried Monster & Me? I don't think there are any real big hacks on that game.. lol

I agree that P2P games have way less hackers.

This is because - Hackers are not going to be paying a company 5 - 15 bucks a month and then have an unsuccssfull rate at hacking it would be pointless and you would pretty much just go throw your money off a bridge.

not all p2p games are hacker free the 1 with private servers has alot of hacks aswell IMo
