    Default A different Transformers Online?

I decided to jump on the TU forums and see how much hate there is for the MOBA decision. While looking through one thread, I read a comment about leaked gameplay on youtube. While searching for them, I came across this video...

After the beginning intro, I thought something was odd about it. It's not Transformers Universe by Jagex. Googling it gave me very little. Only thing I know is it is being developed by a company in Japan(?).

    Anyone else know about this?

You can post multiple videos in a single post; though, it results in smaller resolution (I hope I used the term correctly). This is how:
    HTML Code:
    [YOUTUBE]Zx9TXUsodYg[/YOUTUBE]
For the videos, that's Chinese--not Japanese--isn't it? The letters sure seem that way. :o

    Did a little searching:
Discovered right before submitting: The top comment on first video even mentions the underlined.
Transformers Online, the China-only massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will be based on the Transformers Prime series.

In a press release (link broken) from NetDragon Websoft, the developer behind the PC-based video game, the company showed off two renders of Optimus Prime and one of Megatron.

This game should not be confused with the MMO that is currently being developed by Jagex, Inc for North America, Latin America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia markets. That game is slated for a 2012 release.
Did you find the second video here? Proves the quote more and more.

91 is the gaming portal, or "entertainment platform of online games", of the company NetDragon Inc; they have sites for US (currently playing one of their games: Absolute Force Online) and CN. Even with Chrome's translator I couldn't find any Transformers. Maybe queenvoo can help

    Press release?

Can you please pay attention to the subject. We are talking about something other than Jagex's TU. This is another one being made at the same time in asia.

It looks, neat? Though I guess I just do not like transformers.

    But yeah, that's Chinese.
They're not "letters" though, and I don't see how it could seem that way considering Japan uses the same characters for kanji.
How popular do you think a toy franchise can be if its survived the early 80's? Presently, it is as popular as it was back then, and in the future, it will still be here.

Same could be said about every anime you watch. I wouldn't bash other peoples interest, everyone likes different things you might not like. Get over it.

Nice to see the stereotype there. I can easily say that, by your forum name, you're a gay pride jazz dancer. So show me those jazz hands, big boy!!!

See, assuming and stereotyping is easy. So if you want to go by your own stereotypes, then I am positive you are a gay jazz dancer. Simple as that.

Did you know that the majority of what we have today would not exist without certain things that the Chinese discovered or invented? In reality, the known world is copying what the Asians been doing. Look at clothing style, data communications, war, and in the gaming industry... F2P.

Another thing, if you look at the info, the other Transformers online game has been in development for a bit longer than Jagex's.

Age of Armor? But I never seen buses in it. You did have to be high level and grind a lot or spend a bit of $$ in the CS to be able to transform. Never had to pay for anything for that game, I got my stuff free. I miss being a GM.

Also, I think Japan has a TPS for G-1.
