what are you giving to other people this christmas
I am poor as ****, so I'm giving my mum Girls Season 1, one of my uncles Season 1 and 2 of Mr. Show, and one of my cousins season 1 of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Also, I took my mum out to a nice dinner, and I'm taking my family to see The Hobbit.
also I'm giving everyone a mix cd and a homemade computer game (see part about being poor as ****).
my immediate family all decided not to give each other presents this year because we all have very little money right now. Instead we decided to go help collect money for charity to get in the proper spirit. which we did.
I got my mum in the family Kris Kringle though, and I wanted to get something for my uncle because he's helped me out a bunch this year. I'm getting Avatar: the Last Airbender for my cousin because I think it would be good for her to watch a kids show with so many strong female characters.
Giving my mom some books and a DVD of I Love Lucy episodes. My brother some jazz CDs and a guitar strap. Couldn't think of anything for my sister so just some gift cards.
I got my mom a wine cellar thing, its like a mini fridge. Got my buddies a poster and two of em a pipe. Got ky cousins some scratch offs because they love them. And my reddit secret Santa I got a barns and noble gift card.
Unfortunately my gifts are probably going to have to be New Years gifts. The kids all got a lot of stuff already, though, so I'm sure they won't mind :P
