Ok. Does anyone here really follow the console industry? All I know for sure is that Sony has shipped their new development prototypes to game makers.

I'm considering getting a 360 tomorrow, but I'm really REALLY torn, because if they release the new xbox next winter, the price of the 360 will be a joke. There's a really nice holiday bundle right now I want to get in on, but its killing me thinking about how I'm basically buying a dead console.

What's your take on it guys? I'm gonna be laid off for a month and it'd be really sweet to have in my party room. I'm still gonna get most games on my ps3 but there are some exclusives I want. Hmmmmmm. Soooooo torn.

does the 360 have many worthwhile exclusives? I thought you could get most of them on pc? the ps3 on the other hand has tons of exclusives, especially if you're into weird japanese games I guess *shrugs*.

at this point, I would say "no", tbh.

To be honest. If I were you, I wouldn't buy the 360, especially if you like quiet consoles. I own both systems, a ps3 and 360, but I definitely regret the xbox360. The only real upside of the console is the controller, but if you're a bit technical, you can do the same as I did, and change a ps3 controller in a 360 controller.

Yeah, I looked through the exclusive list and laughed out loud. Not even close to a third of the ps3. Id 100% consider buying another ps3 before I bought a 360. That and I crashed my car into a snowbank and the tow cost me $75 so **** it.

I do have a vita, and I'll probably be getting persona today or in a few weeks. There's a buy 2 get 1 free ds game sale on right now, if I can get some pokemon games I'm on it.

btw, How is the vita? I've still got some money left and I was thinking about buying one, but there's a serious lack of RPG's on it.

I'd say no too. ): Stick with the PS3, PC, and anything else you have. Buying a 360 when their new console is probably coming out next year wouldn't be wise. Plus you'd also have to fork over some money for Xbox Live! What are the exclusive games you want though? The only exclusive game for the 360 I can think of is Halo 4, lol. I'm more of a PC/PS3 player myself.

Also, I didn't think Sony would come out with one next year too! Interesting.
