Default how much true information about yourself do you post on the web? and why?

you know when you set up websites for yourself like on facebook, youtube or twitter?
how much true information about your age, location, gender, interests etc do you put on?
even if there is a private portion on that website, do you trust it enough to post your private information on that website?

personally i post ZERO true information on any website. because you can never trust the web. even on supposedly private sections of facebook, it is possible for facebook to change its privacy policy or be hacked.

My entire friendslist on facebook probably knows where I live cause of that stupid asz location thing that pin points EXACTLY where you're at. (Thats how that young rapper JoJo Got killed, he tweeted and it showed his location, and the dudes he had beef with came through and shot him.)

I keep forgetting to uncheck it when im using the messenger on my phone, plus I know just about 1/3 or so of the 800 or so people I have added on there from school/college, save for the random adds I get every now and then that have NO mutual friends and exist states away. I dunno how they find my profile lol.

Everything else though, I just put my birthdate, name, and state of residence on.

Well, I post my name on all my OnRPG articles. I don't use FB much, and the only people I add are people I know in real life, and the only time I bother with it is when a family member wants to add me/talk. I'll use my real name and location to register for certain games.

Not really afraid of anyone being able to find me. If someone is psycho enough to stalk me down in real life... Well, they get what they get.

I post my real name and real opinions all the time no matter who sees it or who cares! Social insurance numbers? Credit card information? Mother's maiden name? Who wants it? It's all for sale for the low-low price of me attention whoring!

I used to tell people false info about me, about EVERYTHING about me. Not so bothered any more.

I use paranoia as an excuse to lie about myself.

    Its fun.

People are vetted for years plus, before I add them on fb. I have no friends, lol.

I am just me. No need to lie to no one
