    Default USPS help

    Edit: I just tried my tracking with Canada post and they're the ones delivering my package , the tracking is explained better.

    Item was out for delivery at 11:46 and at 17:43 the Item arrived at postal facility. Item on hold. So I guess they tried to deliver it.

    Oh..I think they just didn't deliver it yet , it still says "Out for delivery" when I'm tracking it. Otherwise the status would be as follow: attempted delivery

    If you're not there, they will leave a sticker or something with info on how to get the package. Usually they will attempt delivery three times, and then hold it at one of the distribution officers so you can pick it up there. If you live in an apartment or community that has a front office, they will often drop them off with someone there.

    It may be because today is New Years eve and tomorrow is New Years that they did not deliver it. Not sure if USPS has these dates off or not, though.

    Edit: Might be getting confused with UPS, tho. So if my info is wrong, my bad.

    I see , so they will attempt to deliver it again on january 2 , right?

    Probably. You could call them up tomorrow if they're open. If they're not, try the next day. They probably have a recording going (if they're closed) that will give you any information you need. You could also try googling and seeing if anyone else has had similar issues.
