I know its possible to dual boot windows 8 on a windows 7 machine but I was wondering if the reverse was true. I loathe windows 8 (for several reasons other than aesthetics) and my old laptop is coming apart at the seems (literally) and its becoming increasingly difficult to find a win7 machine... I'm afraid of totally wiping a PC and installing 7 (if even possible) for driver reasons..

Also if I do dual boot it would my drivers carry over?
