Ok you want some info.
eMachines Desktop PC (T6534)
I would really recommend this one. Its very steady and not too pricy. Of course if your hardcore gaming on your PC you might want to step up the graphics card. It has a nVidiaŽ GeForceŽ graphics but I would go with a Diamond Multimedia Viper Radeon X1600 PCI-e Video Card (X1600PCIE256S.
This'll tack on another $180 bucks but its well worth it. Now of course if your gaming you shouldn't go with most flat screens. Chances are, your screen will be killed after that 1,000th hour of Halo. Also the response time is slower than the "TV like monitors". However if you must, I suggest the LG Monitor (L1932TQ). Yea they do more than just phones. The response time is 4 milliseconds and its an LCD display which won't burn images. This is somewhat of a high end monitor though. With a 1280 x 1024 resolution it'll set you back $300. However your monitor won't look like this: (ELLO.. IS THIS THING ON?)
Computer blonde... kthxstfu (thats so old). I'd say it'd probably be better to build your own PC reading up on every component and selecting what fits your needs and budget plan.
