Shrug, the only reason I don't like posting in already existing threads is because there's usually more than one discussion going on within them (even for one game) - so posts made after mine may not be addressing my particular question or topic. It's just easier to find replies made specifically for my posts rather than sorting through other people's questions.

It's a lot quicker to sort through threads than dozens of pages within a thread.

True but most of the time a lot of people that post daily on that thread wouldn't mind quoting it or looking up the info for you. If it's something major it will probably be on more then one page in that thread.

I wonder how it would go if they changed the MMO request forum to just a general request forum. I have a feeling that would work out really well. Request a game, a group info etc etc.

Yep exactly, and most of these people you're directing this thread towards are lurkers anyway, so they'd likely skim through the thread, and then ask their question if they didn't find it.
