    Default Avalon Heroes closing

After endless strategic battles, where simple fighters evolved into epic heroes it´s time for these heroes to finally enjoy their well-deserved retirement: Avalon Heroes will leave the alaplaya-family on 8th of February 2013!

Rest assured, that this was no simple decision for us because we don´t want to disappoint you, the players. Also, the whole team has put a great deal of effort and love into the world of Avalon. We’d like to thank you all for your great support and the positive and also crucial feedback!
Sadly, we came to realize that Avalon Heroes did not live up to your expectations within the last year, and in the end there just weren´t enough active players. That is why we are unable to maintain the high standards of service for Avalon Heroes that you’ve become accustomed to. Starting on 8th of February 2013, the Avalon Heroes game world will no longer be accessible on alaplaya.

Of course with your account you can continue to access great games like Maestia and S4League. Additionally, the amazing worlds of Planetside 2 and DC Universe Online are also available for you!

We want to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal fans again! We had a fantastic time in the world of Avalon Heroes with you, and we hope to see you soon in another one of our great games!

    Best wishes,

    The Avalon Heroes Team

I'm surprised they had it as open as long as they did, this game was such a piece of dogshit, even in beta.

Why is it harsh? It was more or less a shitty warcraft 3 ripoff more so than most games out there, not to mention it was heavily pay to win.
